REJ Design’s electric towel warmers have been renewed

REJ Design’s towel warmers, handcrafted in Järvenpää, Finland, bring responsible and timeless design to homes, cottages, hotels, and various other spaces. As an expert market leader, we continuously develop our products and operations. Our innovations are built on quality and responsibility, as well as on the ease of design, installation, and use. To offer even more environmentally friendly towel warmers — and to make designing, installing, and using our products even easier — we are now renewing our entire range of electric towel warmers.

Starting from July 1, 2025:

  1. All electric towel warmers will include a timer and eco function as standard.

  2. The connection leg can be chosen flexibly, even on-site.

  3. There will no longer be separate product codes for different connection sides.

1) Even more energy-efficient towel warmers: all electric models now feature a timer and eco function

The Ecodesign Directive implementing regulation (EU) 2024/1103 sets stricter energy efficiency requirements for electric towel warmers starting July 1, 2025. As a result, all REJ Design electric towel warmers will now include a timer as standard. In addition, users can choose an optional low-power eco function. This ensures that REJ Design towel warmers fully comply with the regulation requirements:

Max 60W towel warmers:

  • Maximum continuous operating time of 6 hours

  • Additionally (even though not required by the regulation):

    • Timer function (3 h / 6 h)

    • Optional low-power eco function

Over 60W towel warmers:

  • Timer function (3 h / 6 h), with the option for continuous operation

  • Optional low-power eco function

2) Easier design and installation: connection leg can be freely chosen, even on-site

From now on, REJ Design electric towel warmers come with a factory default connection setup (right upper leg / left lower leg), but the connection leg can be easily selected during installation. This means the same towel warmer can be connected from any leg.

Note: as before, Vivo models can only be connected from the top right or top left leg.

In addition, thanks to the new main power switch, the towel warmer meets the safety requirements of standard EN 60335-1 even in fixed installations — it can be disconnected from the electrical network using the new main switch, eliminating the need for a separate cut-off.

3) A clearer product range: no more parallel product codes for different connection sides

With this update, a single towel warmer model can now be connected from any leg (except Vivo models). As a result, the parallel oy/va and vy/oa product codes for the same model will be discontinued, significantly reducing the number of product codes in the REJ Design range.
